I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Philosophy Department at the University of Rochester. I recently completed my Ph.D. in Philosophy at Columbia University.
My research focuses on ancient epistemology, particularly on Plato’s treatment of epistēmē (roughly, knowledge or understanding) and its intersection with his ethical thought. I also have interests in the history of epistemology, non-Western philosophy, and philosophy of religion. Check out the menu bar to learn more about my research and teaching.
I grew up in Waco, Texas and received my B.A. from Princeton University. Outside of philosophy, I can be found running or playing the piano or pipe organ.
